The Shoes: Time To Dance
Casting one of Hollywood’s leading stars as a bloodthirsty psychopath isn’t a bad way to get your music promo a little extra attention. Daniel Wolfe’s violent video for The Shoes’ Time To Dance sees a bearded Jake Gyllenhaal embark on a killing spree armed with a fencing foil and a menacing look in his eyes.
After watching Time To Dance you’d be forgiven for thinking that the combination of The Shoes’ music + Daniel Wolfe’s direction = unbalanced individual promo – after rewatching Johnny Harris losing it Stay the Same I’d say you were right!
