Intel’s Visual Life

For some reason Intel’s Visual Life campaign had completely passed me by, (thanks Short of the Week for catching me up) possibly because it’s one of those ideas so perfectly simple that you end up kicking yourself for not coming up with it beforehand:

The people you know, the places you visit, the things that inspire you… together, these represent your unique Visual Life, and we want to celebrate it! People from around the world have uploaded photos and videos giving us a peek inside their visual lives.

It’s always refreshing to see brands approach advertising from a creative, associative perspective rather than the traditional head on interruptive model. Intel seem to totally get this distinction with initiatives like this and the recent Facebook user ad Museum of Me, hopefully they’ll nudge more companies into entertaining us whilst selling their wares.
