Set in the not too distant future, where bodies are easily maintained and updated with new parts, science fiction short True Skin – written and directed by Stephan Zlotescu – is an FX-driven piece that somehow manages to paint Bangkok as even more lively and vibrant than it currently is.
For Kaye, still a natural, augmenting will help him keep pace in this now hyper-paced world. However, after acquiring an off-market prototype, Kaye quickly finds himself fighting not only for his own humanity, but something much larger.
