Snowden: The Beat Comes

The Beat ComesOn seeing a call for promo treatments on Facebook from Snowden, director John Merizalde shifted his focus from the celestial heights of record breaking cosmonauts to the gritty and atypical tale of a boxer born of violence and eyeliner in his first music video The Beat Comes.

Merizalde shot a mix of RED Epic and Sony FS700 footage in Atlanta over two days and worked with songwriter Jordan Jeffares to put a fresh spin on the boxing montage concept which felt like a natural visual fit for the invigorating energy of the track.
