The march of technology was meant to free us from the shackles of work and time, enabling the enjoyment of a better life. Is that what’s happened or have we all instead become slaves to our electronic Addicitions? Giovanni Bucci’s audio/visual project explores these ideas, utilising “green screen, stop motion animation, filming with macro, editing, motion graphics, visual effects, styling, make up, sound design,” with Bucci taking on most of the major production roles himself.
The result is an impressive visual onslaught which careens through your synapses, leaving wondering what the hell just happened.

MarBelle has a strange compulsion to watch as many films as he can get his hands on and find jobs that give him a legitimate excuse to drill filmmakers about their work. Directors Notes is the latest incarnation of this disorder and so much cheaper than film school. Twitter: @MarBelle
