Playing much more like the opening to a movie depicting a vision of a dystopian, totalitarian future than a festival title sequence, Mischa Rozema’s (PostPanic) Year Zero film for OFFF Barcelona 2011 is a visceral ride into the bowels of a world I hope to never have the misfortune of visiting…by which I mean it’s a stunning piece of work!
“We knew we wanted to make something that would unsettle and menace the audience. It was always going to be dark but also highly aesthetic.
