Year Zero – OFFF Barcelona 2011 Main Titles

Playing much more like the opening to a movie depicting a vision of a dystopian, totalitarian future than a festival title sequence, Mischa Rozema’s (PostPanic) Year Zero film for OFFF Barcelona 2011 is a visceral ride into the bowels of a world I hope to never have the misfortune of visiting…by which I mean it’s a stunning piece of work!

“We knew we wanted to make something that would unsettle and menace the audience. It was always going to be dark but also highly aesthetic. This project has filled our spare hours for the past 6 months and it is incredibly satisfying to work on something that we were given complete creative freedom on – that’s a rare luxury these days.” – Mischa Rozema
