Leo Bridle and Ben Thoma’s graduation short Train of Thought is an impressive mix of cut-out live action, stop motion, paper craft, green screen, rotoscoping and sketched animation. Leo and Ben join us this week to discuss their multi-discipline, collaborative approach to filmmaking.
We honed in on the idea of a train cause we liked the intrinsic links that it had with animation itself…the windows on the side of the train representing almost frames in the film reel.
