Jumping from the environmental PSA Small World Energy, Niles Heckman’s new promo is a sublime piece of futurist filmmaking, set inside “a hybrid fusion reactor / particle accelerator-type environment that reacts to music“, and a perfect accompaniment to the electronic strains of The BS of D’s Toughest Skin (a remix of Nine Inch Nails’ The Frail).
Heckman also has an interesting write up of the project’s inspiration on his site that you should have a read of after being wowed by the video.

MarBelle has a strange compulsion to watch as many films as he can get his hands on and find jobs that give him a legitimate excuse to drill filmmakers about their work. Directors Notes is the latest incarnation of this disorder and so much cheaper than film school. Twitter: @MarBelle
