Animated and directed by Eric Power, Path of Blood at first appears like a made in the bedroom, South Park styled homage to the samurai movie, however as we delve deeper into Power’s short its turns out to be a highly detailed, beautifully crafted piece full of comedy and gore. But what else would you expect from the man who brought us the meticulously crafted Tatooine, the original Star Wars Trilogy retold via paper animation.
