Give the masses access to cheap creative tools and you wont have to wait long before they use them to express themselves in ways you never imagined, but does the democratisation of creativity lead to better culture or will great art become drowned in a sea of mediocrity? PressPausePlay, the debut feature from David Dworsky and Victor Köhler travels the world to poise this question to leading artists and thinkers across the realms of art, film, music and literature. I caught up with David and Victor at SXSW to discuss their position on the amateur/professional scale.

We’re not making a film about something that happened 10 years ago, where everyone knows exactly how everything went. We made a snapshot of today & tried to portray the mood & feel of the different sides.
