Asides

Urban

It’s pretty impressive when a short film can open with a sprawling aerial shot and then launch straight into an adrenalin fueled parkour sequence. This is exactly what happens with Vladimir Teneslav’s Urban and the pace doesn’t relent  throughout its 4 minutes.

Looking through the hundreds of short films we’ve featured on Directors Notes, it was pretty apparent we don’t come across many ‘action’ shorts. Maybe they’re too hard to make, too grand in production and too costly in budget. However, Urban is without doubt an action movie and a very successful one at that. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
