The Sisyphean structure of Will Lamborn’s trapped in the desert short Out of Nowhere had me instantly hooked. Will joins me to discuss the tricky nature of directing actors through ever repeating iterations of a scene.

One of the things about film that’s so interesting to me is that it can recycle and play with time… There’s a lot of fun ways you can play with time. It’s very malleable.
