son, you beautiful

Want to kick off the week with a bit of well deserved flattery? Well Victor Solomon’s got you covered.

Stemming from a private joke, Victor dreamt up the character of Chester Winchester, “a ghetto-fied hoodlum from inner city Boston, who is forceful with his compliments.” Feeling the joke may be lost if Chester was shoehorned into a full on narrative, Victor instead stripped things back to their essence and rounded up a group of friends to deliver a set of unexpected compliments presented in a ghetto style over at son, you beautiful.

Victor describes the site as “an e-greeting of sorts, to brighten one’s day and bring a smile to even the most grizzled of gangsters.” All I know is that it left me feeling mighty fly.
