The term ‘midlife crisis’ conjures images of needless purchases of flash cars, dating people half your age and of course, synchronised swimming? Well perhaps not the last one, but that’s what director Dylan Williams and the Stockholm Arts Swim Gents turned to on the cusp of 40. Dylan joins us to discuss the careful navigation necessary when creating a documentary about your closest friends.

There’s another problem in that when you do a film about your friends, I felt the burden of their trust on me very heavily.
