I had the unfortunate pleasure of sitting through Ridley Scott’s pretty pointless Robin Hood recently and after suffering through 99% of the movie’s tedious action and dubious accents, I finally found something of great quality in the film, the end credits.
Created by Prologue, these stylish titles with a beautiful painted look were almost worth sitting bored for well over 2 hours, I cant remember ever seeing abstract animation of this quality on a big screen.
I’d been looking for the titles online for a while and thanks to Motiongrapher, I’ve not only found them by also an insightful interview with Henry Hobson, creative director at Prologue who led the project.
El Vez is in the building! Labelled by many as a geek for his addiction to film, animation and t’internet, El Vez has known the DN Crew for far too long…just proving that geeks (or nerds as he prefers) do hunt in packs. Twitter: @kung_fuelvis
