Ad Spot

Insignificant Images

At one point in photographer Ryan McGinley’s glorious promo for Pringle, Tilda Swinton staggers bewildered though a cornfield in a black cocktail dress, before looking directly at the camera and announcing “insignificant images”. It would be harsh to label McGinley’s Ad spot as just this, as it’s not only vividly cinematic but hauntingly atmospheric.

If only all adverts could be like this.
