Mogwai – Burning
If you’re into Music, love short films and regularly visit Directors Notes, then it’s more than likely you’ve seen (or at least heard of) the fantastic Take Away Shows. Well just to make me love them even more, co founder Vincent Moon and Editor Nathanaël Le Scouarnec have now made a live film for one of my favourite bands, Mogwai.
This is a black and white experience of the senses carved by the raw emotion of this pioneering band that doesn’t need any words to touch the heart of its listeners. Layered and innovative, the movie has its finger firmly on their pulse, a sonic adventure between hope and rebellion. A lifetime of feelings in just one night.
