It also has a great dedication to the screenings of such a variety of short films - which is the main reason I go every year. I'm very much looking forward to seeing parts 1, 3 & 4 now as I found part 2 amazingly inspiring as a filmmaker. It was a shining example of what excellent filmmaking can be achieved, on what I'm guessing was a very modest budget! If you ever make it to Filmstock, please let us know as I'm sure I'll be going for a many a year more. It is an excellent festival Dan, has a great vibe and real community feel to it. I remembering discussing the films with friends that were there and the program of films but not really in great detail, it's good to read all of this as I missed a great deal of the festival due to being on holiday so I'm trying to look up the ones I would have enjoyed. As an experimental film fan even I could not really enjoy that last film, it at least needed subtitles for the incessant mumbling of the main character, maybe that was the point of it?
